5 tourists including local guide killed in Kashmir as Gandola falls

Gulmarg: At least five tourist including a local guide died in a tragic accident after the Gandola (Cable Car) in which they were travelling was hit by a tree and fell down in Gulmarg.

Reports said that tree was uprooted and hit the cable car. Two others were also reportedly injured.

Reports further said that speedy winds uprooted a pine tree and it hit the cable car. One Gandola was derailed and fell down with the tourists.

The deceased persons were identified  as Jayant Andraskar s/o Namdev R/o B-209 Dehli adminstaff qtrs shalimar bagh Dehli, Manshea andraskar w/o jayant adresss R/o  B-209 Dehli adminstaff qtrs shalimar bagh Dehli, Anagha jayanat andraskar daughter, Janhvi jayantandraskar daughter and Mukthar ahmad ganai s/o Ali mohd r/o chonti patri babareshi.
